My Baby's Turning ONE!!

In less than a week and a half my baby is turning ONE!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! Every stage has been better than the last and before I know it she'll be riding away on a school bus...dating...college...married...AAHHH! Well, I'll just love the moment for what it brings and continue to thank our amazing and faithful Lord for this precious miracle He's given us.

I'm having fun with the party plans though...oh yes, there will be a party! I couldn't let her first birthday go by without a celebration with family and friends. The invitations are ready to go out (homemade of course!) I made the front to look like a magazine cover and the inside holds details of the party using pink paper and a darling polka-dot paper by sei called Such A Girl. It's so cute!! For Christmas I got a fun cake pan shaped like a giant cupcake (from my sis-she knows I love to bake) and I can't wait to make it for the party!! I don't know how I'm going to decorate it yet but a couple of ideas the pan shows look like this:
(sorry, don't know why this one is so small!!)
I think since it's so close to Valentine's Day (February 16th) I'll serve sandwiches cut into heart shapes, and other assorted snacks...many detail to still work out but I'll get it all done! Can't wait to share party photos with you!
...off for more planning!

Dear Amy,

It was so fun to meet you face to face yesterday! And the party invitations are darling--can't wait to see how your cake turns out and all the rest of the party pictures.

Happy Birthday, little girl!

Hey Amy! It's Angie's friend, Michelle. I can't believe Kenzie is already a year old! She is SO cute, always has been, I just love that beautiful, dark hair of hers. Your invitations for her party were so clever and cute and I loved the pics on Angie's blog of her and her cute cake. Okay, cute's the word of the day I guess, but truly, she is. I have loved the year between 1 and 2 with both of our kids, it's a time when they are really learning so much and you just get more and more of their personality every day. I hope it's a great year ahead for you guys.
