Every year I try to pick wonderful peaches at the grocery store and am always disappointed when I get home to find a less that ripe peach to bite into. Well, ever since my sister told me about it, I now order my peaches from the "Peach Lady" and anticipate August/September every year!
Usually I split a box with my Mom but this time I made it a priority to purchase a whole box (25 pounds) and freeze some to enjoy the whole year through!
So, at my first attempt to freeze my own peaches I decided to document this occasion with some colorful pictures that will leave your mouth watering!
Peaches!

Look at you being all domestic! I love it, and those peaches look delicious!!! I think you need to make a peach cobbler. And then invite me over to share. :)
That's exactly what I did last year and they turned out mushy when I thawed them. Hmm. I'm eager to hear how yours are. I'm trying something different this year (to be determined!). I made peach cobbler with my mushy peaches and it wasn't bad, just mushier! :)
I just re-read my comment and it sounded really negative. I guess what I was thinking that didn't come across in my comment is that I'm sure - knowing me - that I did something wrong. I'm eager to hear how yours are because I'll bet they'll be fine.
